ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server (104)
Attempts to establish new MySQL client connections result in the following error.
This MySQL error indicates that the client application was not able to establish a new TCP connection to the target ScaleArc cluster.
If this symptom is intermittent and not exhibited on every connection attempt, it is possible that your ScaleArc cluster has reached its configured Maximum Client Connections found under Cluster Settings -> CLIENT configuration tab.
Check your Cluster Stats to see if your client connections hits Maximum Client Connection. If so, the workaround is to increase Maximum Client Connections to higher value.
If this message is still observed although your client connections did not hit Maximum Client Connection for one cluster, it is possible that the cumulative number of total client connections for all clusters has reached the Maximum Client Connections supported. Additional client connections can be supported by allocating separate IP addresses for each cluster defined in the ScaleArc configuration.
If you are experiencing issues with ScaleArc or with any of it's features, please contact ScaleArc Support. We are available 24x7 by phone at 855 800 7225 or +1 408 412 7315. For general support inquiries, you can also e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
