How To: Upgrade ScaleArc Software Appliance
Which version of ScaleArc can be upgraded to which version of ScaleArc?
From some of the newer versions of ScaleArc Software Appliances, there have been a few significant changes to architecture and format for some components. In these cases, ScaleArc Support advises that our customers contact the ScaleArc Support team for assistance when upgrading from various older versions of ScaleArc (iDB).
As of ScaleArc 3.2, we have released a unified core, able to support traffic for whichever database that is enabled through the ScaleArc license.

IMPORTANT: There is no upgrade path avaiable from ScaleArc 2.x to ScaleArc 3.x. A fresh install of 3.x is required.
