The following Alert message can be observed in the ScaleArc Alert Logs:
Message: HOSTNAME RESOLUTION ALERT : It took more than 10 seconds to resolve hostname 'ch-d-db11.nhschoices.local' (Time Taken : 24 seconds). Check if the DNS server is reachable., State: -1, SSID: 0, DB: , DB IP: , Type: 37
This message indicates ScaleArc is not able to reach the DNS server and HOSTNAME resolution takes 24 Seconds. We need to make sure that the link between ScaleArc and DNS server doesnt have any network issues which might lead to this kind of a delay.
