When ScaleArc is installed on Bare Metal, we might come across the issue while configuring ScaleArc where ScaleArc reports following error message.
File /boot/grub/grub.conf does not exist.
Cause: The said error could occure if the UEFI option in BIOS is enabled.
UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is a replacement for the older BIOS firmware interface and the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) 1.10 specifications
Resolution: You need to disable the UEFI option in BIOS and try installting the Scalearc.
