QUESTION |
Can SSAS (SQL Server Analytics Service) be routed through ScaleArc?
ANSWER |
For MSSQL Database traffic, ScaleArc is a TDS Traffic Loadbalancer. TDS is the protocol that SQL Servers use to negotiate and issue SQL queries. SSAS does not use TDS. Generally, SSAS uses SOAP and XMLA on HTTP transport and could not be connected though ScaleArc.
Here is an MSDN references to the SSAS Protocol: |
