Database Configuration:

  • The database replication should be set up as per your requirement between the database servers (e.g: Master - Slave, Master - Master replication etc.)
  • ScaleArc requires a database user for cluster creation. This user is called as root user. See here for the  minimum privileges required by the ScaleArc cluster root user.
  • To access the database server(s) from ScaleArc, you need to provide root user the necessary permissions for the cluster's outbound IP address and management IP address. ScaleArc uses this information to monitor database server health and the slave replication lag time.
